Can you tell me if North Florida Safety Council is a licensed driving school in Florida?
Although North Florida Safety Council is listed on our list of driving schools in your area, we are unable to say with certainty as to whether they are currently approved to teach hands-on driving courses in Florida.  We recommend either calling North Florida Safety Council directly or the Florida DMV to find out whether or not North Florida Safety Council offers driver training courses that are state-approved.
Is it true that my mom or dad can be my driving instructor when I do my behind-the-wheel training instead of a professional driver training school instructor like the ones they have at North Florida Safety Council?
It depends on what your state's laws are.  You should contact the Florida DMV or a licensed driving school like North Florida Safety Council to find out if Florida allows driver training with a parent.
What happens if I don't know how to drive a stick-shift vehicle? Will North Florida Safety Council allow me to do my behind-the-wheel training with an automatic-shift automobile?
Considering you're a brand new driver, you probably don't know much about driving any type of car--stick-shift or automatic-shift!  However, if you prefer to complete your behind-the-wheel training using an automatic-shift vehicle, you should contact North Florida Safety Council and let them know before you enroll in their driver training course.  That way you will know for certain if they will accommodate you.
What happens to those of us who live in a remote area? Will North Florida Safety Council include instruction on how to drive on dirt roads, mountain roads, and other bumpy terrain?
If you live in a remote location, there is a high probability that a local driver training school like North Florida Safety Council will either want--or even be required--to tailor their instruction towards driving safely in your particular locale.
I'm turning 14 in a few weeks. Can I get a learner's permit to drive in Florida after my 14th birthday?
Most likely, no.  Most states (though not all) have laws which require that you be at least 15 or 15 1/2 before to be eligible to apply for a learner's permit.  Nevertheless, you may wish to contact the Florida DMV office or a Florida-certified driving school such as North Florida Safety Council to find out for certain what the minimum driving age is in your local area.
Do I have to take both a drivers education classroom course and a driver training course in Tallahassee Florida to get my Florida driver's license?
The laws vary depending on which state you live in, but most states do require that pre-licensed drivers register for a drivers education classroom course and a driver training course.  You may want to call a driving instruction company like North Florida Safety Council and find out if they offer either (or both) of these programs.
