TLC Driving School, Inc.'s address and phone number is listed on your webpage. How can I find out if it is an approved behind the wheel training school in New Mexico?
Even though we provide a list of behind-the-wheel training schools on our website, we have no way of knowing for sure as to whether or not a particular school is licensed by the New Mexico DMV to offer behind-the-wheel training courses.  We strongly suggest that you contact TLC Driving School, Inc. directly or check with the New Mexico DMV to find out for sure if TLC Driving School, Inc. is a licensed school.
Will the New Mexico DMV allow my parents to supervise my driving practice instead of requiring me to take a behind-the-wheel training course at a state-approved driving school?
Possibly.  Some states will allow your parents to supervise your driving practice as a substitute to taking a behind-the-wheel driving course with a professional driving instructor.  You will need to contact the New Mexico DMV to find out if your behind-the-wheel driving may be done by your parents in New Mexico.

I live in a very rural area, where there are mountains and a lot of dirt roads. Do you know if TLC Driving School, Inc. offers training for driving in rural areas like where I live instead of just driving on smooth, paved roads in city areas?
Since you live in a remote area, a local driving school such as TLC Driving School, Inc. will tailor your behind-the-wheel training to handle the conditions in your area.
Are 14-year-olds allowed to apply for a learner's permit in New Mexico?
Although a few states allow teen-agers to begin practicing how to drive at 14, most states have set the youngest age for which to hold a learner's permit at either 15 or 15½.  You will need to contact the New Mexico Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a certified driving instruction company like TLC Driving School, Inc. to find out what the minimum age for driving is in New Mexico.
