Just because a driving school appears on our directory of driver training institutions, we cannot guarantee that they are fully licensed to offer behind-the-wheel training courses in New York.  We highly recommend that you contact City A-1 Driving School, Inc. directly or the New York DMV to find out for sure if City A-1 Driving School, Inc. offers driver training courses that have been approved by the State of New York.
Do you know if I can complete my behind-the-wheel training with my mother or father instead of attending a driving school like City A-1 Driving School, Inc.?
Some states allow teen-agers to complete their driver training with their parents instead of attending a professional driver training school.  We recommend that you contact the New York DMV or City A-1 Driving School, Inc. directly to find out if New York allows parent-taught driver training.
Do you know if City A-1 Driving School, Inc. will let me complete my driver training using an automatic-shift vehicle? I don't know anything about using a manual-shift.
Considering you're a brand new driver, you probably don't know a whole lot about driving ANY type of vehicle, be it a manual OR an automatic!  Nevertheless, if you have a preference, you probably should contact City A-1 Driving School, Inc. and see if they can accommodate you before registering for their driver training course.
I live in a remote area, that has a lot of dirt roads and rugged terrain. Will City A-1 Driving School, Inc. teach me how to drive in BOTH city AND rural environments?
If you live in a rural area, chances are very good that a local driving school like City A-1 Driving School, Inc. will want you to be taught how to drive safely on the local area's terrain.
If I'm 14, can I get an instruction permit to drive in New York?
