Is Good Deal Driving licensed by the California DMV to offer behind-the-wheel training courses?
Although we include Good Deal Driving in our directory of driving schools for Los Angeles California, we cannot make any assurances about whether or not Good Deal Driving is certified by the California DMV.  You should contact Good Deal Driving directly and ask them if you are thinking about enrolling in their Los Angeles California driver training class.
Do you know if I can do my driver training with my mother or father instead of attending a driving school like Good Deal Driving?
Some states allow teen-agers to do their driver training with their parents instead of attending a professional driver training school.  We recommend that you contact the California DMV or Good Deal Driving directly to find out if California allows parent-taught driver training.
What if I don't know how to operate a manual-shift automobile? Does Good Deal Driving have automatic-shift vehicles that I can drive when I do my driver training?
If you're taking a Los Angeles California driver training class, chances are you don't know how to drive ANY vehicle yet-- stick or automatic.  However, if you prefer an automatic vehicle then you should tell Good Deal Driving that prior to enrolling in the course in order to make sure they can accommodate you. 
I live in a small rural community, where there are a lot of small, unpaved roads. Will my driver training with Good Deal Driving include learning how to drive in remote areas? Or do they just offer training for city driving?
Most local driving schools will likely want their students to be taught how to drive safely in the local area.  Therefore, chances are good that the driver training you receive from Good Deal Driving will include handling unpaved roads and mountain driving.
Can I get my California learner's permit once I turn 14?
Most likely, no.  Most states have set the minimum age to obtain a learner's permit at 15 or 15½.  You may want to contact the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a certified driving instruction school like Good Deal Driving to learn more about the minimum age requirement in California.
I live in Los Angeles California. Does the law say I have to enroll in both a driver ed classroom or online course and a behind-the-wheel training course in order to be fully-licensed here?
Each state has its own laws in regards to licensing procedures.  However, most states do require that new, teen-aged drivers register for both a behind-the-wheel training course plus either a drivers education online course or drivers education classroom course .

Can I enroll in a California-licensed behind-the-wheel training course even if I don't have my California learners permit yet?
Most likely, no.  Most states have laws that mandate a pre-licensed driver to have obtained a California learners permit before registering in a California driver training course.  It would be best for you to contact a driving school such as Good Deal Driving and ask for more information.
