Dynasty Driving School FAQ's

Can you tell me if Dynasty Driving School is a licensed driving school in California?
Although Dynasty Driving School is listed on our list of driving schools in your area, we are unable to say with certainty as to whether they are currently certified to teach driver training courses in California.  We recommend either calling Dynasty Driving School directly or the California DMV to find out whether or not Dynasty Driving School offers behind-the-wheel training courses that are state-approved.
Somebody told me that I can skip out of attending a driver training school if my parents give me behind-the-wheel training instead. Is that permissible in California?
Each state has its own rules regarding driver training.  Some states will allow parentally-supervised driver training as a substitute for taking a driver training course which is taught by a professional driving instructor.  However, not all states allow this.  You should contact the California DMV to find out for sure.
I can't drive a manual-shift. Will Dynasty Driving School allow me to complete my driver training on an automatic-shift vehicle?
We recommend that you contact Dynasty Driving School and ask them if you can do your driver training using a vehicle that has an automatic shift before enrolling in their behind-the-wheel training course.
I don't live anywhere near a city. There are unpaved roads and rugged terrain all around my house. How do I know if Dynasty Driving School will train me on how to drive in a rural area like where I live and not just teach me how to drive in a town-or city-type environment?
Since Dynasty Driving School is a local driver training company in your area, it's a safe bet that Dynasty Driving School will be motivated (or perhaps required) to teach its local customers how to drive on rugged terrain.  If you want to make certain, however, you may want to call Dynasty Driving School to find out exactly what's included in their driver training course before you sign up with them.
Now that I'm 14, will California allow me to get an instruction permit to drive?
Not likely.  Most states require residents to be at least 15 or 15 1/2 years old before applying for a learner's permit.  We recommend that your contact the California DMV office or a California-approved driver training institute such as Dynasty Driving School to learn more about the minimum driving age requirement in California.
Do you know if the laws in California require new teen-aged drivers to successfully complete a behind-the-wheel training course in addition to a driver ed classroom or online course?
The laws vary from state to state, but many states do require you to take a driver training course with "hands-on" practice in addition to a driver ed classroom or online course.
I'm required to take a defensive driving course in Palm Springs California. Do you know if Dynasty Driving School offers defensive driving classes in Palm Springs California?
Yes, Dynasty Driving School does offer driver training courses in Palm Springs California.  For more information about their class schedule and how/when to enroll in one of their behind-the-wheel training courses, please contact Dynasty Driving School directly.
Exactly what type of driver training do I need in Palm Springs California before I can get my California driver's license?
The prerequisites for getting a driver's licenses vary from state to state, however most states now require teen-agers who are looking to get their first driver's license to sign up to take a safe driving classroom course as well as a behind-the-wheel training course.  We suggest that you contact a local driver training company such as Dynasty Driving School and ask if they offer a California-approved  driver training course which would satisfy California's driver's education requirements.
Is there a law in California that requires me to take behind-the-wheel training in order to get my driver's license?
Yes.  State law in California mandates that all teen-agers take an approved driver training course before receiving a California driver's license.
Is it okay for me to register for a behind-the-wheel training class in California before I receive my California instruction permit to drive?
