Dynamic Driving School FAQ's

Dynamic Driving School is listed on your website as a driving school which offers driver training courses. How do I know if Dynamic Driving School is a certified school in California?
While we include a list of driving schools on our website for your convenience, we cannot guarantee that every single one of them is currently licensed by the California DMV.  We suggest you contact Dynamic Driving School directly or the California DMV to find out if Dynamic Driving School is a fully-accredited driver training school.
Somebody told me that I can skip out of attending a driver training school if my parents give me behind-the-wheel training instead. Is that permissible in California?
Each state has its own rules regarding driver training.  Some states will allow parentally-supervised behind-the-wheel training as a substitute for taking a behind-the-wheel training course which is taught by a professional driving instructor.  However, not all states allow this.  You should contact the California DMV to find out for sure.
I have no clue how to drive a stick-shift vehicle. What happens if Dynamic Driving School makes me train on a stick-shift vehicle?
Considering the fact you are a brand new driver, you probably don't know much about operating ANY type of vehicle....manual OR automatic!  If you prefer to do your hands-on driver training with an automatic-shift vehicle, you may want to call Dynamic Driving School and let them know before you sign up to take their driver training course.  That way you'll know for sure whether Dynamic Driving School can accommodate you before you pay them any money.
I live in a remote area, that has a lot of dirt roads and bumpy terrain. Will Dynamic Driving School teach me how to drive in BOTH city AND rural environments?
If you live in a remote area, chances are very good that a local driver training school like Dynamic Driving School will want you to be taught how to drive safely on the local area's terrain.
After I turn 14, will I be eligible to obtain my instruction permit so I can begin to learn how to drive?
It depends on which state you live in, however most states unfortunately require you to be at least 15 (or sometimes 15 1/2) before you can be issued a learner's permit.  We suggest that you contact a local driver training school such as Dynamic Driving School or the California DMV office to learn more about the minimum age requirement for driving in California.
Will I be required to register for both a drivers education classroom or online course and a behind-the-wheel training course in Westlake Village California?
It depends on which state you live in, but many states now mandate new teen-aged drivers to register for both a drivers education course as well as a driver training course.
I have to register for a behind-the-wheel class in Westlake Village California before California will give me my driver's license. Does Dynamic Driving School offer this type of course?
Dynamic Driving School does offer the driver training course in Westlake Village California that is required by the State of California.  You will need to contact Dynamic Driving School directly for more information about the behind-the-wheel courses they offer and their class schedules.
Do I have to take drivers education to get a California driver's license?
Drivers education requirements vary depending on which state you live in, but you should be aware that most states require new, teen-aged drivers to sign up to take both a driver training course in addition to a safe driving classroom or online course.  You may wish to contact the California DMV to find out exactly what requirements you will need to satisfy in order to obtain your first driver's license.
What does the law in California say about driver training courses? Do I have to take one to get my driver's license?
Yes, you do.  California law states that new drivers take an approved behind-the-wheel training course as a prerequisite to getting their first driver's license.
Do I need to have my instruction permit before I enroll in a driver training course like the one that Dynamic Driving School offers?
You will need to contact Dynamic Driving School or the California DMV to find out if you are allowed to enroll in a driver training school like Dynamic Driving School before receiving your California instruction permit.
