LRS Systems Ltd. FAQ's

Is LRS Systems Ltd. licensed by the Nevada DMV to offer driver training courses?
Although we include LRS Systems Ltd. in our directory of driving schools for Las Vegas Nevada, we cannot make any assurances about whether or not LRS Systems Ltd. is certified by the Nevada DMV.  You should contact LRS Systems Ltd. directly and ask them if you are thinking about enrolling in their Las Vegas Nevada behind-the-wheel training class.
Do you know if I can complete my driver training with my mother or father instead of attending a driving school like LRS Systems Ltd.?
Some states allow teen-agers to complete their behind-the-wheel training with their parents instead of attending a professional driver training school.  We recommend that you contact the Nevada DMV or LRS Systems Ltd. directly to find out if Nevada allows parent-taught driver training.
Do I need to tell LRS Systems Ltd. that I need to train with an automatic-shift automobile? I don't know how to operate a manual-shift vehicle.
Most new drivers don't know how to operate either a stick-shift OR and automatic-shift car!  We recommend that you ask LRS Systems Ltd. if you can complete your driver training using an automatic-shift automobile before you sign up to take their driver training course.
The area in which I live is mostly undeveloped--very few paved roads and mountains are all around. Will LRS Systems Ltd. be able to teach me how to drive safely on bumpy terrain as well as in a city or town?
Considering that you live in a remote area, chances are excellent that a local driving school like LRS Systems Ltd. will want you to be able to drive safely on dirt roads and other types of rugged terrain.  You may wish to contact LRS Systems Ltd. to find out exactly what their behind-the-wheel training course includes before enrolling in their training course.
After I turn 14, will I be eligible to get my learner's permit so I can begin to learn how to drive?
It depends on which state you live in, however most states unfortunately require you to be at least 15 (or sometimes 15 1/2) before you can be issued a learner's permit.  We suggest that you contact a local driver training school such as LRS Systems Ltd. or the Nevada DMV office to learn more about the minimum age requirement for driving in Nevada.
Do I have to take both a drivers education classroom course and a driver training course in Las Vegas Nevada to get my Nevada driver's license?
The laws vary depending on which state you live in, but most states do require that pre-licensed drivers register for a drivers education classroom course and a behind-the-wheel training course.  You may want to call a driving instruction company like LRS Systems Ltd. and find out if they offer either (or both) of these programs.
I have to take a defensive driving course in Las Vegas Nevada. Can I meet this requirement by registering with LRS Systems Ltd.?
Yes, LRS Systems Ltd. offers defensive driving courses in Las Vegas Nevada.  You will need to contact LRS Systems Ltd. directly to get more information on the types of courses they offer and when to register for a class.
What type of driver ed do I need before Nevada will give me a driver's license?
Each state has its own requirements concerning drivers education, although you should know that most states now mandate all new, young drivers to complete a safe driving classroom or online course as well as a driver training course.  LRS Systems Ltd. may be able to help you meet the behind-the-wheel training requirement in Nevada.  Please contact either LRS Systems Ltd. or the Nevada DMV for more information.
Is hands-on driver training required in Nevada in order to be licensed to operate a motor vehicle?
Absolutely.  All new drivers in Nevada must enroll in an approved behind-the-wheel training course before they can get a license to independently operate a motor vehicle.
Can I register for a Nevada-certified driver training course even if I don't have my Nevada instruction permit yet?
Most likely, no.  Most states have laws that mandate a pre-licensed driver to have obtained a Nevada instruction permit before registering in a Nevada behind-the-wheel training course.  It would be best for you to contact a driving school such as LRS Systems Ltd. and ask for more information.
