Beverly Hills Driving Education FAQ's

Are all the driving schools listed on your website fully-accredited by the California DMV to offer behind-the-wheel training courses in California?
The driving school directory on our website is for your convenience only, and we cannot absolutely guarantee that every driving school listed is currently certified to offer driving training courses in California.  We suggest you contact the California DMV to make sure a particular driving school is licensed before you enroll in their driving course.
Will the California DMV allow my parents to supervise my driving practice instead of requiring me to take a behind-the-wheel training course at a state-approved driving school?
Possibly.  Some states will allow your parents to supervise your driving practice in place of taking a behind-the-wheel driving course with a professional driving instructor.  You will need to contact the California DMV to find out if your behind-the-wheel driving may be done by your parents in California.
I have no clue how to drive a manual-shift vehicle. What happens if Beverly Hills Driving Education makes me train on a stick-shift vehicle?
Considering the fact you are a brand new driver, you probably don't know much about operating ANY type of vehicle....stick OR automatic!  If you prefer to do your behind-the-wheel training with an automatic-shift vehicle, you may want to call Beverly Hills Driving Education and let them know before you enroll in their driver training course.  That way you'll know for sure whether Beverly Hills Driving Education can accommodate you before you pay them any money.
I live in a remote area, that has a lot of dirt roads and bumpy terrain. Will Beverly Hills Driving Education teach me how to drive in BOTH city AND rural environments?
If you live in a rural area, chances are very good that a local driver training school like Beverly Hills Driving Education will want you to be trained in driving specific to the local area's terrain.
If I'm 14, can I get a driver's permit to drive in California?
Possibly.  However, you should be aware that most states require you to be at least 15½ years old before you can get an instruction permit.  We recommend that you contact the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a licensed driving school such as Beverly Hills Driving Education to find out exactly what the minimum age requirement is in California.
Do I have to take both a drivers education classroom course and a behind-the-wheel training course in Los Angeles California to get my California driver's license?
The laws vary depending on which state you live in, but most states do require that pre-licensed drivers register for a defensive driving classroom course and a driver training course.  You may want to call a driving instruction company like Beverly Hills Driving Education and find out if they offer either (or both) of these programs.
I have to take a safe driving class in Los Angeles California before California will give me my driver's license. Does Beverly Hills Driving Education offer this type of course?
