Tala Driving School FAQ's

Can you tell me if Tala Driving School is a licensed driver training school in Virginia?
Although Tala Driving School is listed on our list of driving schools in your area, we are unable to say with certainty as to whether they are currently licensed to teach behind-the-wheel training courses in Virginia.  We recommend either calling Tala Driving School directly or the Virginia DMV to find out whether or not Tala Driving School offers hands-on driving courses that are state-approved.
I've been told that either of my parents can monitor my behind-the-wheel training, so I don't have to attend a Manassas Virginia driving school like Tala Driving School to fulfill my driver training requirement. Do you know if that's true or not?
You will need to contact the Virginia DMV or a state-approved driver training school like Tala Driving School to find out.  Some states do allow parent-taught driving, but many states do not.
What if I don't know how to operate a stick-shift automobile? Does Tala Driving School have automatic-shift vehicles that I can drive when I do my behind-the-wheel training?
If you're taking a Manassas Virginia driver training class, chances are you don't know how to drive ANY vehicle yet-- manual or automatic.  However, if you prefer an automatic vehicle then you should tell Tala Driving School that prior to registering for the course in order to make sure they can accommodate you.
Since I live way out in a remote location where driving on dirt roads and bumpy terrain is the norm, will Tala Driving School be able to teach me how to drive in a non-urban environment? Or do they only prepare you for city-driving?
Since you live in the country, odds are that any local driving school in your area such as Tala Driving School will want you to be able to drive safely on unpaved roads and bumpy terrain.  We recommend that you contact Tala Driving School directly to find out exactly what they offer.
Now that I'm 14, will Virginia allow me to get an instruction permit to drive?
Not likely.  Most states require residents to be at least 15 or 15 1/2 years old before applying for a learner's permit.  We recommend that your contact the Virginia DMV office or a Virginia-approved driver training institute such as Tala Driving School to learn more about the minimum driving age requirement in Virginia.
Do you know if the laws in Virginia require new teen-aged drivers to register for a driver training course in addition to a driver ed classroom or online course?
The laws vary from state to state, but many states do require you to enroll in a driver training course with "hands-on" practice in addition to a drivers education classroom or online course.
If I need to sign up to take a Manassas Virginia driver training program, can Tala Driving School help?
Yes.  Tala Driving School offers driving courses in Manassas Virginia.  For more information about the type of behind-the-wheel training Tala Driving School offers and the training schedule, you should contact them directly.
What type of driver ed do I need before Virginia will give me a driver's license?
Each state has its own requirements concerning drivers education, although you should know that most states now require all new, young drivers to sign up to take a safe driving classroom or online course as well as a driver training course.  Tala Driving School may be able to help you meet the driver training requirement in Virginia.  Please contact either Tala Driving School or the Virginia DMV for more information.
Is hands-on driver training required in Virginia in order to be licensed to drive a car?
Absolutely.  All new drivers in Virginia must enroll in an approved hands-on driver training course before they can be issued a license to independently drive a motor vehicle.
Is it all right if I enroll in a driver training school like Tala Driving School prior to my obtaining my learner's permit?
In most states, you are required to have already gotten your instruction permit before you sign up to take your behind-the-wheel training course like the one offered by Tala Driving School.  We suggest you contact either Tala Driving School to find out more information.
