Do you know if I can complete my behind-the-wheel training with my mother or father instead of attending a driving school like Country Roads Driving School?
Some states allow teen-agers to do their behind-the-wheel training with their parents instead of attending a professional driving school.  We recommend that you contact the Texas DMV or Country Roads Driving School directly to find out if Texas allows parent-taught driver training.

If you're taking a San Antonio Texas driver training class, chances are you don't know how to drive ANY vehicle yet-- stick or automatic.  However, if you prefer an automatic vehicle then you should tell Country Roads Driving School that prior to registering for the course in order to make sure they can accommodate you.
I live out in the middle of nowhere. There are rural and mountain roads all around. Will Country Roads Driving School train me how to drive in BOTH rural AND city areas?
If you live in a rural or mountain community, chances are that a local driving instruction institute like Country Roads Driving School will include driving lessons specifically tailored to that terrain.
Can I get my Texas instruction permit once I turn 14?
Most likely, no.  Most states have set the minimum age to obtain an instruction permit at 15 or 15½.  You may want to contact the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a licensed driving instruction school like Country Roads Driving School to learn more about the minimum age requirement in Texas.
I live in San Antonio Texas. Does the law say I have to enroll in both a drivers education classroom or online course and a driver training course in order to be fully-licensed here?
Each state has its own laws in regards to licensing procedures.  However, most states do mandate that new, teen-aged drivers register for both a behind-the-wheel training course plus either a drivers education online course or drivers education classroom course .
Texas's DMV has told me that I need to take a behind-the-wheel training course. Do you know if Country Roads Driving School offers this course or not?
Country Roads Driving School does offer the driver training course that Texas requires all new teen-aged drivers to take.  For more information about the courses Country Roads Driving School offers, we recommend that you contact Country Roads Driving School directly.
