Safe 'N Sound Driving School FAQ's

How do I know if Safe 'N Sound Driving School is licensed by Idaho's DMV to offer driver training courses?
While we do include Safe 'N Sound Driving School's contact information in our driving school directory, we cannot say with certainty as to whether Safe 'N Sound Driving School is certified by the State of Idaho.  We recommend that you either contact Safe 'N Sound Driving School directly or possibly the Idaho DMV to find out if Safe 'N Sound Driving School is a certified driver training school.
I heard that parents can fill the role of driving supervisor in Idaho, so taking a Meridian driving school course like the one Safe 'N Sound Driving School offers is not necessary. Is that true?
You should contact the Idaho DMV or a licensed driving school like Safe 'N Sound Driving School and ask them.  While parent-taught driving instruction is permitted in some states, many states do NOT allow it.
What if I don't know how to operate a vehicle with a stick-shift? Does Safe 'N Sound Driving School have an automatic-shift vehicle they'll allow me train with?
Since you're just learning how to drive, you probably don't know how to operate either a stick-shift or an automatic-shift vehicle!  However, if you have a preference as to a stick or an automatic, you probably should call Safe 'N Sound Driving School to see if they can accommodate your request prior to your enrolling in their driver training course.
I don't live anywhere near a city. There are unpaved roads and rugged terrain all around my house. How do I know if Safe 'N Sound Driving School will train me on how to drive in a rural area like where I live and not just teach me how to drive in a town-or city-type environment?
Since Safe 'N Sound Driving School is a local driver training company in your area, it's a safe bet that Safe 'N Sound Driving School will be motivated (or perhaps required) to teach its local customers how to drive on rough terrain.  If you want to make certain, however, you may want to call Safe 'N Sound Driving School to find out exactly what's included in their behind-the-wheel training course before you register with them.
After I turn 14, will I be eligible to get my instruction permit so I can begin to learn how to drive?
It depends on which state you live in, however most states unfortunately require you to be at least 15 (or sometimes 15 1/2) before you can be issued a learner's permit.  We suggest that you contact a local driver training school such as Safe 'N Sound Driving School or the Idaho DMV office to learn more about the minimum age requirement for driving in Idaho.
Do I have to complete a Meridian Idaho drivers education classroom course or online course before enrolling in one of Safe 'N Sound Driving School's driver training courses?
Each state has its own laws, but most states will require first-time drivers to take both a driver training course plus either a drivers education classroom course (which are about 30 hours in length) or an approved online defensive driving course.  You may want to ask Safe 'N Sound Driving School if they offer one or both programs.
I have to take a driver training class in Meridian Idaho before Idaho will give me my driver's license. Does Safe 'N Sound Driving School offer this type of course?
