Bestway International Driving FAQ's

How do I know if Bestway International Driving is certified by North Carolina's DMV to offer driver training courses?
While we do include Bestway International Driving's contact information in our driving school directory, we cannot say with certainty as to whether Bestway International Driving is certified by the State of North Carolina.  We recommend that you either contact Bestway International Driving directly or possibly the North Carolina DMV to find out if Bestway International Driving is a certified driver training school.
Could I just have my mother or father teach me how to drive instead of paying money to take a professional behind-the-wheel training course?
It depends on which state you live in.  There are some states which allow you to do your behind-the-wheel training with a parent or guardian instead of attending a professional driving school.  However many states require that new drivers take a professionally-taught behind-the-wheel training course.  We recommend that you check with your state's DMV office to find out if your parent or guardian can fill the role as your behind-the-wheel driving instructor.
I don't know how to drive using a stick-shift. Will Bestway International Driving have an automatic-shift car available that I can use for my behind-the-wheel training?
Since you're enrolling in a Greensboro North Carolina driver training class, chances are good that you don't know how to drive either a stick-shift OR an automatic!  However, you should let Bestway International Driving know what your preference is before signing up to take their behind-the-wheel class.  That way you'll know for sure they will accommodate you.
What happens to those of us who live in a rural area? Will Bestway International Driving include instruction on how to drive on dirt roads, mountain roads, and other rugged?
If you live in a rural location, there is a high probability that a local driving school like Bestway International Driving will either want--or even be required--to tailor their instruction towards driving safely in your particular locale.
Are 14-year-olds allowed to obtain a learner's permit in North Carolina?
Although a few states allow teen-agers to begin practicing how to drive at 14, most states have set the minimum age for which to hold a learner's permit at either 15 or 15½.  You will need to contact the North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a certified driving school like Bestway International Driving to find out what the minimum age for driving is in North Carolina.
Do I have to complete a Greensboro North Carolina drivers education classroom course or online course before registering for one of Bestway International Driving's driver training courses?
Each state has its own rules, but most states will require first-time drivers to take both a behind-the-wheel training course plus either a drivers education classroom course (which are about 30 hours in length) or an approved online drivers education course.  You may want to ask Bestway International Driving if they offer one or both programs.
