E-Z Driving School FAQ's

Is E-Z Driving School an approved driving school in North Carolina?
Just because a driving school appears on our directory of driver training institutions, we cannot guarantee that they are fully licensed to offer hands-on driving courses in North Carolina.  We highly recommend that you contact E-Z Driving School directly or the North Carolina DMV to find out for sure if E-Z Driving School offers hands-on driving courses that have been approved by the State of North Carolina.
I heard that parents can fill the role of driving supervisor in North Carolina, so taking a Charlotte behind-the-wheel training course like the one E-Z Driving School offers is not necessary. Is that true?
You should contact the North Carolina DMV or a licensed driving school like E-Z Driving School and ask them.  While parent-taught driving instruction is permitted in some states, many states do NOT allow it.
Do you know if E-Z Driving School will let me complete my driver training using an automatic-shift vehicle? I don't know anything about using a stick-shift.
Considering you're a brand new driver, you probably don't know a whole lot about driving ANY type of vehicle, be it a stick OR an automatic!  Nevertheless, if you have a preference, you probably should contact E-Z Driving School and see if they can accommodate you before signing up to take their driver training course.
I don't live anywhere near a city. There are dirt roads and bumpy terrain all around my house. How do I know if E-Z Driving School will train me on how to drive in a remote area like where I live and not just teach me how to drive in a town-or city-type environment?
Since E-Z Driving School is a local driver training company in your area, it's a safe bet that E-Z Driving School will be motivated (or perhaps required) to teach its local customers how to drive on rugged terrain.  If you want to make certain, however, you may want to call E-Z Driving School to find out exactly what's included in their behind-the-wheel training course before you register with them.
If I'm 14, can I get a driver's permit to drive in North Carolina?
Possibly.  However, you should be aware that most states require you to be at least 15½ years old before you can get an instruction permit.  We recommend that you contact the North Carolina Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a licensed driving school such as E-Z Driving School to find out exactly what the minimum age requirement is in North Carolina.
Do you know if the laws in North Carolina require new teen-aged drivers to successfully complete a driver training course in addition to a drivers education classroom or online course?
The laws vary from state to state, but many states do require you to register for a behind-the-wheel training course with "hands-on" practice in addition to a drivers education classroom or online course.
If I need to enroll in a Charlotte North Carolina driving school, can E-Z Driving School help?

Is a behind-the-wheel training course a prerequisite in Charlotte North Carolina for me to get a drivers license?
