All Star Driving School FAQ's

Is All Star Driving School an approved driving school in Wisconsin?
Just because a driving school appears on our directory of driver training institutions, we cannot guarantee that they are fully licensed to offer hands-on driving courses in Wisconsin.  We highly recommend that you contact All Star Driving School directly or the Wisconsin DMV to find out for sure if All Star Driving School offers behind-the-wheel training courses that have been approved by the State of Wisconsin.
I've been told that either of my parents can supervise my driver training, so I don't have to attend a Monona Wisconsin driving school like All Star Driving School to fulfill my behind-the-wheel training requirement. Do you know if that's true or not?
You will need to contact the Wisconsin DMV or a state-approved driving school like All Star Driving School to find out.  Some states do allow parent-taught driving, but many states do not.
I have no clue how to drive a manual-shift vehicle. What happens if All Star Driving School makes me train on a stick-shift vehicle?
Considering the fact you are a brand new driver, you probably don't know much about operating ANY type of vehicle....manual OR automatic!  If you prefer to do your hands-on driver training with an automatic-shift vehicle, you may want to call All Star Driving School and let them know before you sign up to take their behind-the-wheel training course.  That way you'll know for sure whether All Star Driving School can accommodate you before you pay them any money.
I live in a remote area, that has a lot of dirt roads and rugged terrain. Will All Star Driving School teach me how to drive in BOTH city AND rural environments?
If you live in a rural area, chances are very good that a local driving school like All Star Driving School will want you to be trained in driving specific to the local area's terrain.
Can 14-year-olds obtain instruction permits to drive in Wisconsin?
Most states have set the minimum age for applying for a learner's permit at 15 or 15 1/2.  However, some states do allow 14-year-olds to get an instruction permit.  You may want to contact the Wisconsin DMV or a Wisconsin-approved driver training school like All Star Driving School to find out what the minimum age to drive is in Wisconsin.
Will I be required to enroll in both a drivers education classroom or online course and a driver training course in Monona Wisconsin?
It depends on which state you live in, but many states now mandate new teen-aged drivers to enroll in both a drivers education course as well as a behind-the-wheel training course.
Wisconsin law says that I must enroll in a hands-on driver training course in order to get licensed to drive in Monona Wisconsin. Is this something that All Star Driving School can help me with?
Yes, All Star Driving School offers the Wisconsin-approved behind-the-wheel training course.  For more information about their classes and instruction schedule, please contact All Star Driving School directly.
Do I have to take drivers education to get a Wisconsin driver's license?
Drivers education requirements vary depending on which state you live in, but you should be aware that most states require new, teen-aged drivers to enroll in both a behind-the-wheel training course in addition to a safe driving classroom or online course.  You may wish to contact the Wisconsin DMV to find out exactly what requirements you will need to satisfy in order to obtain your first driver's license.
