Can you tell me if Young's Driving School is a licensed driving school in Washington,D.C.?
Although Young's Driving School is listed on our list of driving schools in your area, we are unable to say with certainty as to whether they are currently certified to teach hands-on driving courses in Washington,D.C..  We recommend either calling Young's Driving School directly or the Washington,D.C. DMV to find out whether or not Young's Driving School offers driver training courses that are state-approved.
Will the Washington,D.C. DMV allow my parents to supervise my driving practice instead of requiring me to take a behind-the-wheel training course at a state-approved driving school?
Possibly.  Some states will allow your parents to supervise your driving practice in place of taking a behind-the-wheel driving course with a professional driving instructor.  You will need to contact the Washington,D.C. Do I need to tell Young's Driving School that I need to train with an automatic-shift automobile? I don't know how to drive a stick-shift car.

I live out in the middle of nowhere. There are rural and mountain roads all around. Will Young's Driving School train me how to drive in BOTH rural AND city areas?
If you live in a rural or mountain community, chances are that a local driving school like Young's Driving School will include behind-the-wheel driver training specifically tailored to that terrain. 
If I'm 14, can I get a driver's permit to drive in Washington,D.C.?
Possibly.  However, you should be aware that most states require you to be at least 15½ years old before you can get a learner's permit.  We recommend that you contact the Washington,D.C.
