Dynamic Driving FAQ's

Is Dynamic Driving certified by the Texas DMV to offer driver training courses?
Although we include Dynamic Driving in our directory of driving schools for Houston Texas, we cannot make any assurances about whether or not Dynamic Driving is licensed by the Texas DMV.  You should contact Dynamic Driving directly and ask them if you are thinking about signing up to take their Houston Texas behind-the-wheel training class.
I've been told that either of my parents can supervise my driver training, so I don't have to attend a Houston Texas driving school like Dynamic Driving to fulfill my behind-the-wheel training requirement. Do you know if that's true or not?
You will need to contact the Texas DMV or a state-approved driver training school like Dynamic Driving to find out.  Some states do allow parent-taught driving, but many states do not.
I have no clue how to drive a stick-shift vehicle. What happens if Dynamic Driving makes me train on a stick-shift vehicle?
Considering the fact you are a brand new driver, you probably don't know much about operating ANY type of vehicle....manual OR automatic!  If you prefer to do your hands-on driver training with an automatic-shift vehicle, you may want to call Dynamic Driving and let them know before you sign up to take their driver training course.  That way you'll know for certain whether Dynamic Driving will be able to accommodate you before you pay them any money.
I don't live anywhere near a city. There are unpaved roads and rugged terrain all around my house. How do I know if Dynamic Driving will train me on how to drive in a remote area like where I live and not just teach me how to drive in a town-or city-type environment?
Since Dynamic Driving is a local driver training company in your area, it's a safe bet that Dynamic Driving will be motivated (or perhaps required) to teach its local customers how to drive on bumpy terrain.  If you want to make certain, however, you may want to call Dynamic Driving to find out exactly what's included in their behind-the-wheel training course before you sign up with them.
If I'm 14, can I get a driver's permit to drive in Texas?
Possibly.  However, you should be aware that most states require you to be at least 15½ years old before you can get a learner's permit.  We recommend that you contact the Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) or a certified driving school such as Dynamic Driving to find out exactly what the minimum age requirement is in Texas.
Do you know if the laws in Texas require new teen-aged drivers to register for a behind-the-wheel training course in addition to a driver ed classroom or online course?
The laws vary from state to state, but many states do require you to take a driver training course with "hands-on" practice in addition to a drivers education classroom or online course.
I'm required to take a behind-the-wheel training course in Houston Texas. Do you know if Dynamic Driving offers defensive driving classes in Houston Texas?
Yes, Dynamic Driving does offer defensive driving courses in Houston Texas.  For more information about their class schedule and how/when to enroll in one of their defensive driving courses, please contact Dynamic Driving directly.
How do I get a drivers license in Houston Texas?
In most states, pre-licensed teens are required to complete both a classroom safe driving course and a behind-the-wheel training course.  Dynamic Driving may be able to help you meet the driver training portion in Texas.
Do I have to take a Houston Texas behind-the-wheel training course in order to get a driver's license?
Yes.  All drivers in Texas must successfully complete an approved behind-the-wheel training course in order to be licensed to operate a motor vehicle.  Please contact Dynamic Driving for information on the types of behind-the-wheel training courses they offer in Houston Texas.
Can I register for a Texas driver training course prior to having my Texas learners permit?
Most states require pre-licensed drivers to hold a learners permit before being permitted to sign up to take a driver training course.  You should contact a driving school like Dynamic Driving and ask for more information.
