Green Arrow Driving School FAQ's

Green Arrow Driving School's contact information is listed on your webpage. How can I find out if it is a licensed behind the wheel training school in Texas?
Even though we provide a list of behind-the-wheel training schools on our website, we have no way of knowing for sure as to whether or not a particular school is certified by the Texas DMV to offer driver training courses.  We strongly suggest that you contact Green Arrow Driving School directly or check with the Texas DMV to find out for sure if Green Arrow Driving School is a licensed school.
Do you know if I can complete my driver training with my mother or father instead of attending a driving school like Green Arrow Driving School?
Some states allow teen-agers to do their driver training with their parents instead of attending a professional driving school.  We recommend that you contact the Texas DMV or Green Arrow Driving School directly to find out if Texas allows parent-taught driver training.
Do you know if Green Arrow Driving School will let me take my behind-the-wheel training using an automatic-shift vehicle? I don't know anything about using a manual-shift.
Considering you're a brand new driver, you probably don't know a whole lot about driving ANY type of vehicle, be it a stick OR an automatic!  Nevertheless, if you have a preference, you probably should contact Green Arrow Driving School and see if they can accommodate you before signing up to take their behind-the-wheel training course.
I live in a very remote area, where there are mountains and a lot of dirt roads. Do you know if Green Arrow Driving School teaches students how to drive in rural areas like where I live instead of just driving on smooth, paved roads in city areas?
Since you live in a remote area, a local driving school such as Green Arrow Driving School will tailor your driver training to handle the conditions in your area.
After I turn 14, will I be eligible to get my learner's permit so I can begin to learn how to drive?
It depends on which state you live in, however most states unfortunately require you to be at least 15 (or sometimes 15 1/2) before you can be issued a learner's permit.  We suggest that you contact a local driver training school such as Green Arrow Driving School or the Texas DMV office to learn more about the minimum age requirement for driving in Texas.
Will I be required to enroll in both a drivers education classroom or online course and a behind-the-wheel training course in El Paso Texas?
It depends on which state you live in, but many states now mandate new teen-aged drivers to enroll in both a drivers education course as well as a driver training course.
Texas's DMV has told me that I need to take a driver training course. Do you know if Green Arrow Driving School offers this course or not?
Green Arrow Driving School does offer the driver training course that Texas requires all new teen-aged drivers to take.  For more information about the courses Green Arrow Driving School offers, we recommend that you contact Green Arrow Driving School directly.
What steps do I have to take in order to get a Texas drivers license in El Paso Texas?
Most states require that teen-agers who are applying for their first driver's license complete both a safe driving classroom course and a driver training course.  Green Arrow Driving School may be able to help you fulfill the driver training portion in Texas.  Please contact Green Arrow Driving School for more information.

Is it necessary for me to sign up for a driver training course in order to get my first Texas driver's license?
Yes, it is.  All teen-aged drivers applying for their first driver's license in Texas are required to take a state-approved driver training course.
Do I need to have my instruction permit before I sign up to take a driver training course like the one that Green Arrow Driving School offers?
