Motor Skool LLC FAQ's

Motor Skool LLC is listed on your website as a driving school which offers driver training courses. How do I know if Motor Skool LLC is a licensed school in Texas?
While we include a list of driving schools on our website for your convenience, we cannot guarantee that every single one of them is currently licensed by the Texas DMV.  We suggest you contact Motor Skool LLC directly or the Texas DMV to find out if Motor Skool LLC is a fully-accredited driving school.
Could I just have my mother or father give me my behind-the-wheel training instead of paying money to attend a professional behind-the-wheel training course?
It depends on which state you live in.  There are some states which permit you to do your hands-on driver training with a parent or guardian instead of attending a professional driving school.  However many states require that first-time drivers take a professionally-taught behind-the-wheel training course.  We recommend that you ask your state's DMV office to find out if your parent or guardian can fill the role as your behind-the-wheel driving instructor.
What happens if I don't know how to drive a manual-shift vehicle? Will Motor Skool LLC allow me to do my driver training with an automatic-shift vehicle?
Considering you're a brand new driver, you probably don't know much about driving any type of car--manual-shift or automatic-shift!  However, if you prefer to complete your driver training using an automatic-shift vehicle, you should contact Motor Skool LLC and let them know before you sign up to take their driver training course.  That way you will know for certain if they will accommodate you.
Since I live way out in the country where driving on unpaved roads and rugged terrain is the norm, will Motor Skool LLC be able to teach me how to drive in a non-urban environment? Or do they only prepare you for city-driving?

I just turned 14 years old. Am I eligible to apply for my learner's permit in Texas?
